Success...

What is it?

How do you define it?

It's different for everyone.

For me success was making enough to take care of my dad.

Then it was making enough to spoil my kids and grandkids.

Then it was making enough to retire comfortably.

Then it was multi, multi six figures. Yes...I wanted to be rich!

Briefly...but for a few months, I seriously looked at what would it take to get there.

And now..

Well my definition has changed a lot.

Now it's all about freedom and choices.

But in the end one thing has never changed....

I wanted to have a business that didn't require me to pester people all day every day.

In fact...

I didn't want to pester anyone EVER.

So when I found Attraction Marketing I knew it was my answer and I pursued it like crazy.

In a short period of time I went from approaching people in supermarkets and malls and holding home meetings and making cold calls to working a few hours a day around my family life and making more money than I ever imagined.

So yeah....

I HIGHLY recommend Attraction Marketing!

Learning it could be LIFE CHANGING for you.

But let's be real for a minute.

Times are changing.

Inflation is scary high.

Rumors of recession are becoming increasingly prevalent.

We even have folks...

Folks I know and trust...

Predicting economic collapse...

Civil War...

And basically the end of life as we know it.

Now, while I do know and trust these folks, I'm not sure it's going to get THAT bad.

But I do know that there's a lot of uncertainty in the world.

And I do think 2023 is going to be a year where many people get scared and wipe out so being a part of something that keeps you alive and protects you in scary economic times will be a blessing.

And if the past few years have taught me anything, it's that we need to be prepared....

For ANYHTING!

And that's why I am changing the focus of my business.

Now don't worry...

I'll still be teaching attraction marketing for people who want to learn.

But it's going to take more than marketing skills for you to survive if things get even half as bad as some folks think.

You're going to need multiple income streams...

You're going to need to know how to generate quick cash flow...

You're going to need the tools that enable you to work no matter where you are....

Basically, you're going to need what I already have...

Freedom

Choice

And there's no better time to start than NOW.

So that's what we are doing.

I'm going to teach anyone who's interested how to achieve total FREEDOM.

I'll be building sites and templates and all that jazz.

I'm going to try to bring together all the good parts of our industry without all the crap!

This is not a "program".

There's nothing to "join".

I'm done doing programs.

We don't do programs...

We utilize them.

Our commitments are to ourselves and our customers.

We find high quality products, services and opportunities to serve them.

And that's it.

How Do You Measure Success?

Are you successful?  I suppose by most people's definition, I am.  I earn a six-figure income.  I'm a bestselling author.  We own a large home with several acres of land.  My husband and I travel frequently and we often take our children and grandchildren with us.  We have lots of "toys".


But am I really successful?  Material positions and financial security are great.  In fact, they can be very important.  A home, money to pay for the necessities of life, reliable transportation - these are all things every human being needs.  But does that make me a success?  Yes?


What if I have these things because I was willing to compromise my values in order to obtain them?  Would you still say I was a success?


I had dinner last night with a young couple who don't have these things.  They were part of the consequences of our last economic hiccup and are still paying the price.  But I would say they were very successful.  Because despite their struggles, they continue to love and support each other and their children.  They could have become bitter and critical.  They could have resigned themselves to the fact that they won't have those things that everyone wants.  Instead they keep looking for ways to improve their lives and the lives of their children.


Which is how we connected.  They know what I do.  The see what I have.  And they want it too.  And so we had dinner.  And talked.  I showed them all of the possibilities.  I gave them advice.  What was possible.  What was not.  And for you skeptics who think I was just trying to sucker these poor people into my business with promises of riches, guess what.  I told them it was not a good idea for them now.  It takes time to build a network marketing business to the point they need.  And time is something they are short on.  But there is more than one way to make a buck and now they know what's possible.  And they know there are people that will help them.  And now they have something they haven't had in a long time.  A vision for their future.


Success isn't just about what you accomplish.  It's not about how much money you make or how many rooms in your home or how many cars you drive.  It's about inspiring others/  It's about motivating people to go after their dreams with everything they have.  It's about helping them.  It's about adding value.  It's about making a positive impact in the world.  Ken McArthur says that we all have impact, whether we want to or not.  I agree.  It's just a matter of whether it's a positive impact or a negative one.


Yes, I consider myself successful.  Not because I have accumulated all this "stuff."  And not because I achieved many of my personal goals.  I am successful because I try to inspire, motivate, and help others every day.  When they succeed, so do I.  I suppose if I focused on my own personal gain a bit more, I might be a millionaire.  Or maybe drive a Lexus instead of a Jeep.  (Not sure about that.  I really LIKE my Jeep!).  And there are some who would say I do more good if I DID focus more on that.

Expect Success!

Did you start your business expecting to fail?  I'm sure you didn't.  You went into it expecting success!  Why else would you start a business?   But then we start experiencing the delays and speed bumps common to all business, especially when just starting, and we begin to doubt.  Now expecting success becomes a bit more challenging.  This requires a mindset shift.  How do you get back on track?


1. Work Your Plan – As a business owner, you have a business plan, right?  Of course you do!  You would not get in your car and drive to a new destination without a roadmap or GPS.  Well, your business plan is your path to success.  When things become challenging, review your plan.  Check to see if a small course correction is necessary.  Then design a step by step strategy to get back on track.  And remember, we all experience setbacks from time to time.


2. Fear is a liar! - Do not let fear derail you.  And perfection is a form of fear. When fear gets in the way, you will fail.
 
3. Set a deadline – Many people work best under pressure. I know I do!  Impose a deadline either by assigning a date for completion of a task, making a decision, or reaching a goal.  Completion of a job or achieving a goal will bring you success.


4. Outsource – Running a business is time consuming.  If you are spending your day on tasks such as maintain databases, answering emails, maintaining your website, when are you doing the tasks that actually help you build your business? Outsource the tasks that can better be done by someone else and focus on the tasks that actually make you money!

5. Check Your Alignment – What?  My alignment?  Yes!  What I mean is make sure your business is still in line with your values and mission.  If it's not, you may be unconsciously sabotaging your own efforts.  Also talk to your family to ensure they still support your dream.  You may be surprised that the family pet is begging for your attention or someone close to you is leaving your office a mess each time you have an important meeting.  If they are attempting to derail your success, whether consciously or unconsciously, it is important to find out why. 


You deserve to be successful!  You should never settle for less!  Success is not something to fear.  It is not unattainable.  February is International Expect Success Month.  Let's celebrate by making today the day we learn to expect success!

What You Can Expect from Me

I have spent a lot of time trying this product and that system only to wind up broke and disillusioned. "Make money while you sleep!" "Start your cash machine today." Promises, promises. And I bought into every one of them.

Can you make money on the internet or through a home based business? You betcha! Is it easy? Depends on what you call easy. Will you have to work some long hours and (uh-oh) invest a little cash? You will if you really want to build some wealth. Will what worked for me work for you too? Maybe - maybe not. There is no one-size-fits-all method to earn financial freedom.

I have learned some things in my struggle to earn a living from the comfort of my home. Things like which programs really do work and which are just scams. Ways to save the money you do earn. People you can connect with who really will give you advice. How to stay healthy while you are building your online "empire." Resources to help you get there faster. I will happily share my adventures and misadventures with anyone who wants to avoid the mistakes I made. Not everything I share will be of use to you. Take what you need - leave the rest. All I want is to share my experiences with you and maybe we can all learn to live an abundant life - together. And if you have some expertise on any topic, please feel free to share it with us. I hear someone out there asking who is this person? I have never seen her marketing anything. Probably not.
