That is probably a ridiculous question but the truth of it really is that network marketing success lies wholly in your hands, and is dependent upon just a few factors:

The Best Way to Build a Successful Internet Network Marketing Business

An internet network marketing business isn't just sitting at a computer all day and raking in money, although many would would like you to believe that.

When first starting out in internet marketing you can spend months, maybe even the first year, working long boring hours six or seven days a week before you see any return on your investment of time and money.

Most people enter into internet marketing with completely the wrong attitude and ideas, and end up quitting within 3 months of starting.

Getting To Yes: Overcoming Network Marketing Objections

The anticipation is building!  I've come such a long way.  And now it's finally coming to fruition.  My book launch is just around the corner!

Whether you have been involved in network marketing for 10 days or 10 years, have earned $100 or $100,000, you all have something in common.  Just like me, you all have heard the dreaded network marketing objection.  Perhaps it was the "I don't have time" objection.  Or maybe it was the "Those things don't work" speech.  Or my personal favorite, "Network Marketing?  Isn't that illegal?"

Chances are you were also taught to overcome those objections the same way I was.  Simply overpower your prospect with what an amazing opportunity they are missing out on, how they will soon be richer than Midas with no effort, and how they will soon be able to quit their jobs and be laying on a beach somewhere, living a life of leisure.  And if that doesn't work, get them on yhe phone with someone in your upline so they can tell them the same thing. 

If you have been in this situation - and we all know you have - then you have discovered the same thing I did.  This doesn't work.  Even if you do manage to sign up your prospect, they are unlikely to go on to build a successful business of their own.  Why?  Because you never really addressed their objections.  Prospects who become recruits because of unrealistic promises or bullying are unlikely to stay or build a strong team of their own.  And if you ever want to build your business to the point that you don't have to be recruiting 24/7, then you need strong teams under you.

That's why I wrote this book.  Over the course of my 15+ years in the business, I discovered something.  Most of these objections aren't even real.  They are simply masks for an underlying fear.  Address the fear and the objection vanishes.  Now you have a willing recruit, ready to get to work to create a new lifestyle for herself and her family.

So here's the deal.  You can continue prospecting as you have been.  You might get lucky and even get one or two recruits that stick around and build something.  But once you've gone through all of your friends and family and those recruits you did have quit and start badmouthing you and your business because they didn't make any money, what are you going to do? 

If you want a better way, you can start on the right foot with your prospects and help them understand and truly overcome the fear that keeps them captive in their current situation.  Yes, it requires that you really understand the industry and your company BEFORE you start prospecting.  And you will have to actually spend time with prospects.  The days of sitting them in front of a video, then pushing for that "yes" before letting your upline have a shot at them are gone forever.  But you will be rewarded with a team that trusts you, understands what they are getting into, and are ready and willing to get to work.  And that can make all of the difference in your business.

Success Is A Journey

You're a little overweignt. Suddenly you see it! The hot new product that just hit the market. It's going to answer all your prayers. You buy it, and OMG! It works! The first 5 or 10 pounds just melt away.

You need some extra income. And wouldn't you know it? Your friend just signed up with a new company. It's amazing. People are making thousands of dollars overnight. You sign up. And... within a few days, you've enrolled a couple of your friends. Wow! This is easier than you thought it would be!

It’s only human nature to want things to be quick and easy, right? But when you get past those first 5 pounds what happens? You hit a plateau. Or you are very tired of tasteless, boring food and diet shakes. Now it's taking real, consistent work to keep losing. Eating right, drinking water, getting rest. But wait - what happened to that miracle quick fix plan?

You've enrolled a few of your best friends in your new company. But now you have run out of people you can pressure to join you. The rest of your friends and family have seen you do this before and aren't buying it this time. You sponsor and upline have pretty much abandoned you. Oh sure there are company "rah-rah" conference calls and some training that says keep bugging everyone you know or buy some leads and make some cold calls. But wait - this was supposed to be easy. You were supposed to make thousands of dollars in no time.

Sound familiar? New companies and new products all start out the same. Lots of excitement. Lots of hoopla. Everything is so easy. Or you can just keep jumping from one fad diet to the next, from one get-rich-quick company to another. And I promise you - 5 years from now you will be as physically and financially unfit as you ever were. I'm not trying to insult you. This is just reality.
 
True success is a journey, not a destination.  Sure, you can momentarily hit a goal.  And then you think you can stop working.  After all, this diet was supposed to be the last one you ever needed to try.  You've lost the weight easily and it will now magically stay off forever.  You've recruited a team and now you can relax and watch the money roll in.  But you have probably discovered by now that those promises just don't ever come true.

How to Build a Network Marketing Business

There are so many people that would like to work from home nowadays.  The corporate rat race just worsens, and with the big amount of people our age searching for work, you could be feeling a bit insecure - frightened you'll be replaced by someone half our age that will work for less than what you're being paid!

Is it worth the sacrifice in both cash and time you'll have to give up now to enjoy the rewards of your new business the remainder of your life? Are you content to be just the smallest bit uncomfortable now to live a life of freedom later?

If you need to set up a home network marketing business there are variety of things that you'll have to do. Don't spend several hours fishing around online for good ideas, you might waste precious time and just wind up confused and exasperated. It's extremely simple to waste lots of money also.

Find somebody who's already successful in attaining the results which you hope to attain yourself, team up with them and find out what they are doing and how they do it. Expect Success!

Did you start your business expecting to fail?  I'm sure you didn't.  You went into it expecting success!  Why else would you start a business?   But then we start experiencing the delays and speed bumps common to all business, especially when just starting, and we begin to doubt.  Now expecting success becomes a bit more challenging.  This requires a mindset shift.  How do you get back on track?


1. Work Your Plan – As a business owner, you have a business plan, right?  Of course you do!  You would not get in your car and drive to a new destination without a roadmap or GPS.  Well, your business plan is your path to success.  When things become challenging, review your plan.  Check to see if a small course correction is necessary.  Then design a step by step strategy to get back on track.  And remember, we all experience setbacks from time to time.


2. Fear is a liar! - Do not let fear derail you.  And perfection is a form of fear. When fear gets in the way, you will fail.
 
3. Set a deadline – Many people work best under pressure. I know I do!  Impose a deadline either by assigning a date for completion of a task, making a decision, or reaching a goal.  Completion of a job or achieving a goal will bring you success.


4. Outsource – Running a business is time consuming.  If you are spending your day on tasks such as maintain databases, answering emails, maintaining your website, when are you doing the tasks that actually help you build your business? Outsource the tasks that can better be done by someone else and focus on the tasks that actually make you money!

5. Check Your Alignment – What?  My alignment?  Yes!  What I mean is make sure your business is still in line with your values and mission.  If it's not, you may be unconsciously sabotaging your own efforts.  Also talk to your family to ensure they still support your dream.  You may be surprised that the family pet is begging for your attention or someone close to you is leaving your office a mess each time you have an important meeting.  If they are attempting to derail your success, whether consciously or unconsciously, it is important to find out why. 


You deserve to be successful!  You should never settle for less!  Success is not something to fear.  It is not unattainable.  February is International Expect Success Month.  Let's celebrate by making today the day we learn to expect success!
